Being the political science dork that I am, I had finally succumbed to the temptations of hearing the speeches from the Democratic National Convention. As many of you know (or should know), Barak Obama finally gave his speech after accepting the Democratic nomination for the Presidancy. Definitely a historic moment, this day is known for historic moments. 45 years ago Martin Luther King Jr. had made his famous " I have a Dream" speech, and today, it can be safely said that the U.S. has made amazing progress. Perhaps that dream is realized through the nomination of Barak for the presidency.

No doubt about it, Obama is truly a great orator( I admit I was dazzled by his 2004 DNC speech).
